With the integration of pioneering technologies – some of which you may have heard of, some will be new to you – the organization is taking charge of their vision for a future of the Expression of Things.

In this introduction, learn more about Gravotech’s mission and their facility in Georgia. And for technologies especially suited for signmaking, see the options for ADA and other products, compare their laser and CNC machines.
Gravotech laser engraving machines are fast and precise for engraving small objects, while CNC machines are more versatile and can cut larger projects and create 3D objects. For example, Gravotech laser tables can use a CO2 or fiber source, or both.

CNC machines are more versatile than laser engraving machines and can cut larger projects and create 3D objects. Laser engraving is best for smaller, thinner materials, while CNC machines can work with thicker materials like wood, plastic, and acrylic. Laser engraving can create incredible detail, but it may cause discoloration. CNC machines can create simpler cuts, but they may not be as creative as laser engraving. And finally, CNC machines are usually cheaper than laser cutters. Note: Laser cutting can produce dangerous fumes, so ventilation is required. Gravotech offers a laser exhaust system accessory for its laser engraving machines!
