SketchUp is easy to learn, but it’s still best to start with some core concepts to facilitate your speed and tool knowledge. This is the first of 4 videos to teach you the basics of using SketchUp. While a few icons may look different, depending on the version you have, all of the features perform as expected. Beyond this, we have a further 12 videos to make you pro!
This video will introduce you to the navigation tools so you can orbit, pan and zoom around your model, then create a simple house with a few drawing and modification tools. To download and set up your SketchUp software, check out this SOSA article: Brilliant with SketchUp Watch all 4 Getting Started videos, and another dozen selected training videos – just use the search button up top to find all of them, easily!
