Just published this September by David Fellman & Associates, the Sign Sales DNA Project is a research study designed to identify and quantify the most important skills, attitudes and personality traits for a successful sign salesperson. The study was conducted during the 3rd Quarter of 2015, and promoted through a wide range of industry publications, trade associations, franchises and Social Media. Responses came from franchise and independent sign shops, regional and national electric sign manufacturers/installers, sign distributors/installers (no manufacturing) and large format/ specialty printers, and included full-time sales representatives, owners in the full-time sales role and part time salespeople, as well as owners/managers with no sales responsibility.
